Let’s make the most of the last of the longer evenings and get in one last “summer” MTB ride. With the sun setting one hour earlier tomorrow this ride is the last opportunity to maximise daylight on the bike.
We will meet at Zug Train Station at 9 am and weather permitting ride up the Zugerberg, along the top and then to the summit of Wildspitz where we can enjoy the view and a coffee before descending back down to Zug.
Who is this for?
The tour will take in a wide variety of terrain but in general, it will be in the S1 to S2 scale so quite suitable for intermediate riders, but some short sections may need to be walked. There is also a part of the tour which may require pushing the bike uphill. We will do approximately 1000m of ascent on the bikes during this tour.
Cost:
Free
Getting there:
Train:
9:05 IR75 from Zurich HB to Zug(Arriving 09:29)

HI all,
for those arriving by train from Zürich, please keep in mind that there was a change – the train at 09:05 (from track 8) is IC2, which requires reservation for bikes, so you need to make a reservation in advance. Alternatively, you can take S24 at 08:51 from track 4. In any case, please always check up to date SBB timetable.
