Sunset Sailing

The evenings are long, the lake is getting warmer and what better way to spend a Friday evening than on the lake. If there is some wind we can enjoy a great sunset sail and if not we can still enjoy the sunset and use the boat to get out into the lake and go for a swim.

For this event, we will rent the 26′ mOcean keelboat from Sailbox. With its fixed keel, the boat can not capsize and it provides a stable platform for anyone to enjoy an evening sailing on the lake. No previous sailing experience is necessary and this event is suitable for complete novices, those who are interested in doing the Swiss Sailing Certificate to be able to rent boats yourself or experienced sailors who are just looking to get out on the water.

The boat can take up to 7 people, but we will limit it to 5 people total to ensure comfort and some space to move on the boat.

You should be prepared for any weather as the event will go ahead unless there is a full storm warning. (We will still sail with a strong wind warning (orange light rotating at 40 flashes per minute, but will cancel if it’s a storm warning with 90 flashes per minute) but you should come prepared for all weathers, we will still sail if it’s raining so ensure to bring suitable clothing.

Payment details will be provided by email once you have registered for a place in the event. Your place is only confirmed when your event has been paid for in full.

Refund Policy:
Once registered a refund is not possible, but you may swap your place with someone on the waiting list without any penalty.
