Christmas has come and gone and maybe it’s a good idea to get out in the mountains and burn off the holiday indulgence.
The Plan:
The location will be made available to participants on the evening before the tour by the mountain guide. The tour will take place regardless of weather conditions. The tour and location will be adapted to suit the prevailing conditions, but be run under the philosophy of no bad weather with the correct equipment.
The tour will be led by a local UAIGM qualified Mountain Guide. (Walter Gubler)
Tour Level:
The tours will not be too technically difficult, but will most likely (unless more freeride orientated) have in the region of 1000m of ascent under your own power. Ascending 1000m with a pace of about 350m per hour is a prerequisite for participating in this tour.
Prerequisites
- Fitness level to ascend 1000m (+/-) at a pace of about 350m per hour
- Ability to ski in off-piste terrain
- Ability to do kick turns (Spitzkehren)

The tour will run with a maximum of 8 participants (min. 3)
