Summer is starting and this is your chance to learn how to Windsurf. Windsurfing is the perfect sport to complement Stand-up Paddle (SUP) and to enjoy warm summer days at the lake. Come and join us for our Windsurf introduction day and kick off the summer with a splash.
Windsurfing is a dynamic sport that combines the excitement of surfing with the engagement of sailing. Windsurfing is the perfect sport for those who like a challenge and a connection with nature. If you’ve already had a taste for the sport and would like to refine your skills then this weekend is for you.
Our Windsurf introduction day is for those of you who have never tried windsurfing before (or have done a taster session) but would like to learn the basics under the watchful eye of an experienced windsurf coach. The aim of the day will be to provide you with the basic skills to get on the board and sail a short distance from shore, turn around and sail back. Important theory and safety aspects will also be covered.
Who is this for?
This is for anyone who would like to try out windsurfing. You don’t need to be an amazing swimmer, but you should be confident in the water to a point where you will not panic if you fall in. Wetsuits and Buoyancy aids will be provided. If you have already done a basic windsurfing course and can sail out, turn around and return to shore at the same place then check out our coaching days.
