Avalanches scare the living sh!t out of me. The thought of being crushed under a mass of moving snow, having snow force it’s way into my lungs instead of oxygen and slowly suffocating entombed in something akin to cold concrete (if the trauma hasn’t killed me first) is absolutely horrifying.
