Swiss Alpine Adventure kicked off its winter season in the Jakobshorn in Davos last weekend and we were treated to blue skies and surprisingly good snow for so early in the winter. Who’d have guessed that we’d get our first powder turns already in November!? More snow has been falling during the week and it is looking good for more resorts to open their lifts this weekend (27 November).

I also expect Elm to open very soon if this weather continues.
By the middle of December the majority of resorts in Switzerland will be open. Early season snow conditions are as good as I’ve ever seen them. Lets hope that this is how the winter will continue. Time to get the skis and snowboards out and head for the mountains.
