Hi all,

I’m planning a trip to Engelberg tomorrow. They got a lot of snow over the last week and conditions look amazing for some late season powder!

I’ll be skiing steep off-piste terrain and might do a short tour/climb to access some special routes in the Jochpass.

Skins, beacon, shovel, and probe required.

Cheers,

Derrick

Here’s a pic from the tour/climb in the Jochpass when I was there last month.

You definitely have a good day for it - looks like it will remain cold with light cloud. Should be great snow conditions if the avy risk comes down a bit.

@dave They opened the Titlis at 11:00 Friday for the first time in 5 days. 2 meters of untouched powder on the glacier. Blue skies, no wind, stable snow, WOW! couldn’t have been better (accept if a few SAA ski buddies would have come along).
