The 5th Grisha TrailRIDE took place between the resorts of Arosa, Lenzerheide and Davos last weekend. We have competed relatively seriously in this event for the last two years and managed to acchieve 5th and 6th places respectively. This year the plan was to take it a little easier and use the event to show some friends around the amazing trails that are available in the region.

The event follows a unique format. Instead of racing from point to point competitors instead try to pick up as many points as possible in a given period of time. Each team (2-5 Persons)can choose which trails they want to ride on each stage, and each trail comes with a certain number of points depending on technical difficulty and length. The team who scores the most points and arrives back to the finish on time is the winner. The event requires a good tactical route choice, the ability to navigate when riding the route and the fitness and technical skill to be able to keep going for the 6 hours or so that you are riding on each of the three days.

Below are a few pictures which should hopefully give an idea of what the event is all about.
