After last weekends ski tour in Lenzerheide I had pretty much resigend myself to the fact that the best of ski season was over. I figured from now on a few days here and there on the piste or maybe a tour or two just to get outside until bike season gets into full swing.

With this in mind I arranged to go to Lenzerheide with a friend today. The weather forecast was great and I was looking forward to pottering around on the pistes. It wasn’t long before I was looking for lines beside the piste which might be a bit of fun to ride. I was expecting the snow to be similar to last weekend but it was actually really fun to ride, proper spring snow with a nice soft layer on top of a solid base. A few more ski days like this might have to be squeezed in before the snow is finally gone. I’m already looking forward to next winter. 🙂

My friend had a great day too. As a beginner/intermediate he got to do his first black slope and aced it.

The weather is not looking to great for the mountains tomorrow so its time for a bike tour. Stage 1 of an offroad tour around lake Zurich.
