Not yet, but it's definitely time to get the skis out of the cellar and serviced ready for winter. I've seen that a few resorts are already open. You can actually find a list of the open resorts pretty easily here:

https://snow.myswitzerland.com/schneebericht/aktualisiert.piste.saisondaten/?noidx=1

It looks like the usual suspects such as Zermatt, Saas Fee, Engelber, Verbier, Davos etc all have started their seasons already.

Let's hope it's a good and safe winter this year.

We will go to Davos this weekend to start our season if anyone else is going to be there.

Plenty of snow in the mountains for the time of year this year. Up to 170% of the expected snow cover for this point in the season in some places in the mountains.

Snow Map

Let's hope it continues to be a winter with plenty of snow and that everyone enjoys a safe and accident free winter in the mountains.

@mel The map is from the SLF website:

https://whiterisk.ch/en/snow/comparative-depth

There is a lot more information available there other than just the avalanche reports, such as measured snow and weather depth data. It's definitely worth checking out.
