*** Breaking News ***

Unfortunately, due to the lack of snow in Vals, we’ve had to move our off-piste weekend. The good news is we have found the snow. The new location has received over 1 metre of fresh snow on the top of the mountain in the last week and another 80cm is expected until we arrive. Those already registered have been informed of the location, but to try and prevent it from being overcrowded I’m not going to publicise it here. It’s safe to say it’s a location we’ve used in the past and it’s always delivered on the snow front and a location that does not get huge amounts of publicity. So come join us and our guides to explore an open secret of Swiss skiing.

The location has always gotten a huge thumbs-up when we have visited in the past.

Who is this weekend for?
Anyone who is comfortable skiing or snowboarding in an off-piste environment or those who already ride off-piste but feel more comfortable when accompanied by a qualified mountain guide. You will also need to be fit enough to do some altitude gain under your own power on each of the days. (touring skis and skins required).

Please Note: If you sign up for this weekend and the guides see you are unable to ski in this environment they will have no choice but to send you back to the piste, this means you will quite possibly spend the weekend skiing/boarding alone. It is your responsibility to assess your own ability before the weekend accurately.

If you would like to attend this weekend but are unsure of your skiing ability why not check out our off-piste skills weekend.

Weekend Plan

The weekend will be run as a flexible off-piste weekend. Depending on the conditions we could be freeriding or ski-touring. Our guides will endeavour to find us the best conditions on the weekend be they close to or far away from the lifts. Expect somewhere in the region of 1000m of ascent using our own strength or full days of list assisted descending. (anything in between is also possible. i.e. using lifts and then climbing a shorter distance)

Touring/Freeride Skis with skins and crampons will be required for you to remain flexible for the weekend.

Even if you don’t want to go to the Spa in Vals, our hotel still has a small spa area which can be reserved when we arrive at the hotel. If you would like to visit the wellness area remember to pack for it.

Let our guides find you the best snow.
